Who is complex needs care suitable for?

Our service supports working-age adults who have a combination of behavioural, cognitive, mental health or neurological challenges. This may include ARBD, brain injury, challenging behaviour, dual diagnoses or ongoing mental health conditions.

How do you manage challenging or unpredictable behaviour?

Our teams use person-centred behaviour support plans, positive risk management and consistent routines to help people feel safe and settled. We focus on understanding triggers, reducing stress and promoting calm, structured daily living.

Can you support people with both mental and physical health needs?

Yes. Many residents have more than one condition, and our teams are trained to support mental health, mobility, medication, physical health issues and everyday living skills as part of a joined-up approach.

What does a typical day look like?

Each person has their own routine based on their interests, abilities and support needs. This might include sensory activities, community trips, therapeutic tasks, personal development, or time to relax in a calm environment.

Do you offer emergency or short-notice placements?

Where possible, yes. If we have availability, we can support emergency referrals or transitions from hospital or other care settings. Our team will guide you through the assessment process quickly.

Can families stay involved in the person’s support?

Absolutely. We encourage regular communication, visits and involvement in reviews. Families play an important role in helping us understand the person’s history, preferences and what helps them feel at ease.
